Exploring Narradrama

58 minutes

Here’s the first video ever made featuring Narradrama—the new therapeutic approach creating worldwide interest.  Narradrama integrates narrative therapy and drama therapy, incorporating action-oriented creative arts methods with Narradrama’s collaborative “non-expert approach.”

Set in a community group home in South Central Los Angeles, this video is unique not only for its introduction of Narradrama but also in its approach: a team of Narradramatists works with both staff and kids, away from the group home, in a series of extended meetings.  Watch as the severe disconnection between staff and kids dissolves as each side uncovers their strengths and the value of their special knowledge.

Be ahead of the curve in discovering how Narradrama's distinctive attributes can open new possibilities in your therapeutic and educational work.

To protect the confidentiality of the participants this video may not be shown for public use but is solely a training tool for professionals in mental health and education.
